9 Body Mists For That Airy Fragrance Note Perfume Can’t Hit

Esy-to-apply spritzes coming your way...

It’s time to make the most of on-the-go fragrance. Yep, nothing quite beats the convenience, the fun fruity smells or the fact that the scents are seriously longwearing and offer major bang for your buck.

Yep, we’re talking body mist. The lightweight glorious spritzes of joy. We can almost guarantee your nan wouldn’t have even dreamed of wearing one of these body mists so you can save yourself the question ‘does this perfume smell like Grant Aunt Tessie?’

But before we launch right on in, we’ll give you a quick explainer of all things fragrance (bc it gets confusing). First up we’ve got top notes. These are the scents you’re going to get when you first spray the mist (or perfume), and they don’t tend to linger very long. Then we’ve got the heart notes (like we said, kinda random, kinda confusing). Promising to last longer than top notes, these fragrances are the ‘truest’ form of the mist, and work to link top with the base notes. That of course brings us to base notes, and these are what you’re (happily) left with. Lingering for hours after your initial spritz, they tend to help boost the lighter scents although they don’t develop until a while after the first whiff, so always be sure to give it a long-term test run.

But back to body mists… Because we all want to smell our very chicest at all times, even if the scent behind the aroma is cheap as chips. Be sure to favourite this page (or send to a friend) to check back on whenever you (or they) are in need of a restock…

Which is better, body mist or deodorant?

Maaajor time for a PSA. Body mist does not double as deodorant. We’re just going to come right out and say it, you still need a good slathering of the antiperspirant too. So, to answer your question, for the sake of getting to the root of all things smelly, deodorant is king. But for an added spritz of fun fragrance, body mist is here to play. Capiche?
