In case you haven’t checked your phone in a while or you’ve been hiding under a rock, we’re sorry to inform you that Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott have officially called it quits. A well-placed insider recently told TMZ that the former couple— who share one-year-old daughter Stormi Webster together— decided to part ways a few weeks ago after realising they both need time apart to heal and grow.
While the news will no doubt come as a shock to many, Kylie and Travis haven’t been spotted together since his “Look Mom, I Can Fly” Netflix documentary premiered in Santa Monica on Aug. 27. It’s also worth noting that the last time Travis appeared on her Instagram page was after the then-couple posed nude together for Playboy Magazine on Sept. 11.
While little is known about what contributed to their breakup at this point in time, the Internet is already convinced that Kylie’s ex-best friend Jordyn Woods played a part in the demise of their relationship.
Here are a bunch of theories that place Jordyn at the centre of their shock split.

As we already know, Jordyn hooked up with Khloe Kardashian’s boyfriend, Tristan Thompson during a drunken night out. While Jordyn revealed on Jada Pinkett Smith’s Red Table Talk that she deeply regretted her actions and felt remorse for what she’d done, months after the scandal grabbed headlines, she was caught with another on of Khloe’s exes.
Footage recently emerged showing the model hanging out with Houston Rockets basketball player James Harden. According to TMZ, the pair enjoyed a boozy night together at Belle Station— a popular bar in Houston, Texas— and were even spotted “cosying” up in a private booth where they were snapped hanging out with a bunch of pals. A source close to the Kar-Jenner clan later revealed that that wasn’t the first time Jordyn and James had spent time together… unbeknownst to Khloe.
While the second bout of drama didn’t play out on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Jordyn’s shady actions no doubt affected Kylie’s ability to trust those closest to her.
I mean, watching your best friend/ “wifey”— who you once trusted with your life— stab you in the back so slyly would no doubt take a toll on your own relationship, right?
Perhaps that’s why Kylie was very quick to assume the rumours about Travis cheating on her were actually true?

Travis reportedly cheated on Kylie
Earlier this year, after cutting ties with Jordyn, Travis and Kylie’s relationship spiralled when reports surfaced claiming he’d slept with someone else. Although a representative for the rapper adamantly denied that these claims, the mum-of-one is said to have found some very strange messages on Travis’ phone— which seemingly confirmed he had been fooling around with other girls.
The news came days after Kylie forced Jordyn to pack her bags and move out of her home… Maybe it was Jordyn who broke the news to Kylie?
Or maybe she couldn’t trust Jordyn around Travis considering her past betrayals?
Did something happen and Hailey and Justin Bieber’s wedding?
As we know, Kylie attended Hailey and Justin’s second wedding without Travis.
Since the couple said their “I do’s” strange photos have emerged showing the makeup mogul dancing and cuddling up to none other than Jaden Smith— Jordyn Woods’s best friend.
It’s no secret his parents, Will and Jada Smith, publicly stood by Jordyn when the cheating scandal unfolded… so it seems a little odd that Kylie is now friends with Jaden again after everything that went down earlier this year.
Maybe she’s trying to make Travis jealous, or get back at Jordyn?
As we know the Smith’s and the Woods’s have been family friends for over three decades. Jordyn’s late father, John Woods— who passed away from cancer in January 2017— first met Will on the set of Fresh Prince of Bel-Air while working as a sound engineer on the set of the hit series.
Over the years, Jordyn has made her appreciation for Will known on social media, even dedicating a post to the actor on Father’s Day
“Going through pictures and came across this one. This is kind of amazing,” Jordyn wrote on Instagram earlier this year. “Thank you for being a second dad to all of us! Happy Father’s Day @willsmith.”
