Euphoria is back for another season and between all the drama, bad decisions (like, SO many bad decisions) and emotional character moments, fans noticed someone new to obsess over.
Welcome to the stage Elias Kacavas, AKA the super cute actor who plays the role of a younger Cal Jacobs in the show.

Now, we know what you’re thinking: adult Cal kind of sucks, why should we stan his younger self?
Well, the thing is that young Cal is a closeted queer kid who made some bad decisions (remember we mentioned those before?) based on difficult circumstances.
Yeah, adult Cal can be the worst – and don’t get us started on his son Nate – but as a teenager exploring love and sexuality, he maybe… kinda… wasn’t that bad.
It helps that Elias brings a real charm, wholesomeness and heartbreaking honesty to the screen when he plays Cal in his youth.
So who is this striking young actor and why are we hoping to see a whole lot more of him on our TV screens in the future? Read on to find out.
How old is Elias Kacavas?
Born in Manchester, New Hampshire – the US Manchester, not the city in the UK – we’re not certain when Elias’ birthday is but he’s in his early 20s.
The rising star graduated from Manchester High School West in 2017 and would have been around 18 at the time, making him about 23 in 2022.
According to IMDb he’s also of Greek descent, which makes sense given his last name is a pretty typical Greek surname.
Does Elias Kacavas have any siblings?
Not only does Elias have two brothers, one of them is an identical twin, meaning there’s another guy just as hot as he is running around somewhere.
Nikos, who goes by Niko on Instagram, may have his account set to private but tagged photos prove he’s as cute as his actor twin.
We haven’t found Elias’ other brother online yet, but we have a feeling he probably inherited the good looks too.

Has Elias Kacavas had any other acting roles?
Before starring in season two of Euphoria, Elias got his start in the short productions titled The Death of a Matriarch and House of Fluff in 2019.
He’s also set to appear in the upcoming Pretty Little Liars spinoff Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, which is premiering in 2022.
In it he plays Greg, a picture-perfect high school student with a secret dark side – we can’t wait to see what he does with the role.
What does Elias Kacavas do outside of acting?
Elias looked like something of an athlete in high school, playing on his school lacrosse team until he graduated in 2017.
The star then headed to New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts to study drama but dropped out when he landed his role in Euphoria.
Outside of his studies, Elias also appears to have done some low-profile modelling and is a musician, with photos on Instagram showing him playing guitar and piano.
He’s not super active online, but with his star profile rising after his appearance on Euphoria, we have a feeling we’re going to be seeing a lot more of this kid in the future.
