When the intruder couples arrived during Wednesday night’s dinner party on Married At First Sight, groom Daniel immediately caught the attention of Jess.
“Damn Dan!” she told producers, while expert John Aiken said: “We have got temptation walking in the room. New boy Dan is on the radar for Jess.”
During the dinner party, Martha asked Jess, “Are you going to do that?”
But Jess told her, “No, no. I’m not interested.”
She then revealed she had her eyes on another groom – Cyrell’s husband Nic.
“You like Nick?” said Martha, to which Jess responded: “Mmmmm…”
Jess told producers, “I am sexually attracted to Nic. He is a very good looking guy.”
Martha was all for it saying, “You need to say something because it’s now or never.”
But Jess said she didn’t feel it was the right thing to do, despite her marriage with Mick failing.
“If you feel something with Nic, if you feel a vibe, I’m big on vibes,” Martha pushed.
The experts weighed in on the situation.
John Aiken saying, “They’re plotting betrayal.”
“That is NOT what this experiment is about,” said Dr Trisha Stratford.
That didn’t stop Jess, who came back in to the dinner party and asked Nic to talk with him privately.
“Are you happy with Cyrell?” she asked.
“We’re a bit hit and miss at the moment. We’ve had a really rough week and haven’t spent any time together.”
After saying her marriage wasn’t going well either, Jess told Nic, “I have developed some sort of feeling towards you.”
A “flustered” Nic was lost for words, before showing his integrity.
“There is nothing I would do to jeopardise my marriage. I don’t want to be talking about this because I’m still married and I want to do the right thing by Cyrell.”
