Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly have announced their engagement – and it was in the most Megan/MGK way possible.

Taking to Instagram to announce the happy news, Megan revealed that the rapper-turned-pop-punk star proposed to her under a banyan tree.
“In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree. We asked for magic,” Megan began.
“We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time. Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma.
“Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him.
“And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes.”
She added, “…and then we drank each other’s blood.”
If you’re confused over that last little nugget of info, you’re certainly not alone.
“Yall really Had to end the caption like that smh💀 but congrats 🎉,” one follower wrote, while another added, “you did what now.”
It’s not the first time fans have been left baffled by the pair’s romance, which at times reads like a 2008 Wattpad fanfic.
In an interview with GQ last year, Megan gushed over her “dark fairytale” with MGK, where she described the relationship as one featuring “lots of blood,” “general mayhem,” and “tantric night terrors.”
She also added that the pair had “sex that would make Satan clutch his rosary beads.”
Ok.
Not willing to let the slew of wild comments about their relationship slide, social media users were off to the races, dropping hilarious memes about the semi-cringeworthy interview that included the now-infamous “I am weed” quote.
Time will only tell what gems this latest news will bring us.
