Millie Bobby Brown nearly starred in ‘Game of Thrones’ and can you imagine??

The Stranger Things and Enola Holmes star said the rejection nearly made her quit acting all together.

It’s crazy to think that, in an alternate timeline, according to Little Things, Jennifer Lawrence played Bella in Twilight, Reese Witherspoon replaced Alicia Silverstone in Clueless and, apparently, Millie Bobby Brown played an iconic beloved character in Game of Thrones.

Last week, the Enola Holmes star appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where she revealed that Stranger Things has resumed production. But she also revealed a really juicy bit of info: the beloved Netflix star was almost going to quit acting before even starring as Eleven in Stranger Things because she missed out on a role in HBO’s hit fantasy series Game of Thrones.

“I was just very disheartened by the rejection, which is something I tell everyone, this industry is just full of rejection, 24/7,” she told Fallon. “Yeah, I feel like you do. You get a lot of ‘nos’ before you get a yes.”

“I was auditioning for commercials, for anything, really. I then auditioned for Game of Thrones, and I got a no for that. And then, that’s kind of when I was like, ‘oh, this is really difficult.’ And I guess I really wanted that role.”

And, which character did Millie Bobby Brown nearly play in Game of Thrones? According to Preview, the Netflix star was gunning for the role of Lyanna Mormont, the young Lady of Bear Island, famously played by Bella Ramsey.

“Yeah, that was the role I went for,” Millie told Preview, “but I got Eleven [of Stranger Things] instead. I’m not bitter!”
