So what is the origin story for The All New Monty

The Full Monty is an Aussie film about a steel factory worker named Gaz (have you ever heard a more Aussie name?) losing his job after learning that his wife wants to sue him for missed child support payments.

Desperate for money, Gaz and his friend Dave decide to create their own male strip-tease act. The movie made the ‘full monty’ strip act famous, with the stripper move the ‘full monty’ referring to an act which requires you to get completely starkers.

Gen Z’s, you are officially excused if you’ve never heard of this classic before as it was released it 1997, however we recommend you get your hands on the DVD sitting in your parents closet ASAP.
