After being unceremoniously dumped by Blake Garvey for the second-runner up Louise Pillidge on the Bachelor Australia, Australia’s sweetheart Sam Frost became our first Bachelorette.

On the show, Sam fell hard for constructions worker Sasha saying at the time: “From the very first moment that I met you, I got a feeling that I never got before. I’ve been waiting my whole life to meet you. I feel so blessed that you are here.”

Alas, their love was not meant to be.

The couple later split just 18 months after the finale, and since then Sam has hinted that Sasha was a controlling boyfriend.

Sam is now in a happy relationship with Dave Bashford and currently stars as Jasmine Delaney on Home and Away.

Season 2: Georgia Love and Lee Elliott

The moment Georgia Love rejected Matty J was the moment Australia saw a man’s heart break into a million, tiny, pieces. But even though some doubted her final decision, Georgia and Lee have proved the haters wrong.

One of the most successful couples in reality TV history, Georgia and Lee recently moved into their own home in the Melbourne suburb of Richmond, with Lee popping the question on September 1st this year.

Season 3: Sophie Monk and Stu Laundy

As soon as the finale of Sophie’s Bachelorette season ended, it became obvious to almost everyone that Soph and Stu were no longer together – although there didn’t seem to be any hard feelings.

Releasing a split statement just six months after the finale aired, Sophie said: “I don’t know how to explain this because it’s an unusual circumstance to be in.

“But because I entered this relationship so publicly, I know I owe an answer to Australia about my personal life.”

“I gave it the best shot I could and my intentions were everything I said I was looking for, but unfortunately it just didn’t work out.”

Season 4: Ali Oetjen and Taite Radley

Ali and Taite found true love with each other on the Network Ten show, with the couple shooting down rumours of a ‘showmance’.

Speaking with WHO magazine, Ali said: “I actually don’t know how people would think that.

“We were over the moon to be with each other [after the show finished], so it really didn’t faze us. ”
