Season 2 of Riverdale will bring all new characters and story lines, but one we’re most excited for is the introduction of Toni Topaz, played by Vanessa Morgan.
It’s already been confirmed that Toni will be a sort of solace for Jughead as he stays at Southside High, and maybe even create a love triangle between him and Betty.
OoOoOh drama!
However, aside from the fact that Vanessa is getting death threats from #Bughead fans (so not cool, like, really??) she doesn’t even want her character with Jughead.
Nope. Girl is HERE for Toni and Cheryl to be the next big Riverdale power couple, and tbh so are we.

Vanessa told Bustle that she’d love to see her character, (who is bisexual), be with Cheryl
“Madelaine Petsch is my best friend in real life,” she explained. AMAZING! That on screen chemistry would be so freaking incredible.
Madelaine spoke to Just Jared Jr. and reveale that she wants Cheryl to focus on her sexual identity.
“I hope she explores a love interest and explores sexuality a little bit more — and isn’t necessarily vanilla — and wants to explore all grounds of sexuality. That would be interesting to see.”
