Over the weekend, Selena Gomez went to the same restaurant for dinner as Hailey Baldwin as a COMPLETE coincidence.
While there was an opportunity for it to be awkward, it totally wasn’t because these girls are #grown.
While Sel was at the West Hollywood restaurant Craig’s with friends, Hailey was there with Madison Beer.
People went IN on Madison with a huge amount of snake emojis, saying that she has betrayed Selena for hanging out with Hailey.
“These rumors are getting insane…I just had dinner with my friend Hailey of 10 years…and that’s it? How is that a crime? I love Selena…always have (as y’all know). And I would literally never in a million years try to upset her??? This is just mean and unnecessary and nothin happened. It was just a coincidence, you’re bullying me for no reason….”
Thankfully, Selena also jumped in to put an end to all the online bullying.
“This is disgusting reading all of this. This wasn’t intentional whatsoever. I’m so disappointed that people would speak to someone like this. I have known Madison since she was a baby and watched her continue to become the woman she is. There is no issue.”
Both Selena and Hailey are in great places right now. Hailey is happily married to Justin Bieber, and Selena is on the road to #selflove as her new album Rare so beautifully details. Madison Beer can be friends with whoever she wants, and all three are UNBOTHERED by this made-up drama.
Let’s make 2020 less about pitting these girls against each other, and more about celebrating them.
