Halsey and The Chainsmokers may have produced one of the hottest songs ever together with “Closer” but that doesn’t mean they’re close anymore.
Over the weekend, Halsey performed at the iHeartRadio Festival in Las Vegas.
She hit the stage without Chainsmokers’ Drew Taggart and Alex Pall, but that didn’t stop her from singing their song. In fact, she skipped Drew’s part completely and went straight to her bit.
She told the crowd, “my part’s the better part anyway.”
Savage.
Her comment could totally just have been a joke, but we wouldn’t be surprised if she had beef with the DJ duo. Last year, the boys made fun of her appearance on Twitter, prompting her to unfollow them. The tweet went viral (and is now deleted), but Drew claims that he was hacked.
HmMmMm…
Halsey also totally called them out when they didn’t support Lady Gaga’s new music.
