Liam Payne is about to release yet another solo single, “Bedroom Floor” and we’re beyond keen.
However before his songs release, Liam unveiled the lyrics… naturally, fans have their theories after analysing them over & over.
Basically, fans believe that the song is about girlfriend Cheryl Cole. Most specifically when she tried to break up with Liam a few months ago. YEP!
Liam actually admitted that Chezza was ready to end their relationship not too long ago, but he convinced her not to do that.
Chatting to The Sun, Liam admitted that, “There’s one song [on his debut solo album] that is basically a phone call that happened between me and her when she was about to let it go. This is a long time ago. And it’s basically me trying to cling on and say: ‘No, no, no it’s all going to work out — don’t worry about it, give it time.'”
Here are some of the lyrics that point to that:
“You said it was over when you said it was over / But who you calling up when you get lonely? / When you get lonely / Yeah / But your clothes say different / On my bedroom floor / Baby heard you’ve been talking about me lately / Telling all your friends how much you hate me / Your clothes are saying something different now / You wanna break up just to fix it now / Oh baby / Baby why you always act like you don’t want me? / But who you calling up when you get lonely? / When you get lonely / Yeah.”
But wait, there’s more.
One part of the song reads:
“You be saying real real nice real nice things / You be getting real real real real real jealous when it wasn’t you / When it wasn’t you oh / And every now and when my iPhone iPhone rings / I be telling you / I told you / I told you / I told you / You said it was over / You said it was over.”
Does that mean Liam had some other girls while this was happening?!
We are shook.
Now, however, they have a gorgeous child together and seem happier than ever. Obviously, things all worked out for the best. Thank god.
