Married At First Sight’s Connie Crayden and Jonethen Musulin haven’t had the easiest run on the show. In fact, after watching Sunday night’s commitment ceremony, we’re almost certain their relationship will be coming to an end this week.
WATCH EXCLUSIVELY: MAFS’ Connie spotted with new boyfriend
However, Connie isn’t waiting for her split to be televised before showing off her new man! And honestly, we’re pretty damn happy for her regardless of the spoiler.
The 27-year-old was recently photographed getting very cosy with a mystery man while catching some rays at the beach.
New Idea has obtained the imagery and video of the MAFS bride, who couldn’t wipe the smile off her face as she and her new man enjoyed each other’s company.
Connie was even spotted giving him a neck massage!
It’s sad news for people who were hoping that Connie and Jonethen would somehow make it of MAFS alive… but their cracks were showing since day one, with the couple constantly arguing.
One major point of contention for the couple was Jonethen’s constant use of his phone and Instagram. However, Jonethen admits he was using his phone so much to stay in contact with his family after his father had suffered from a stroke.
“When that whole thing happened, my dad just had a stroke,” Jonethen told Hit Mid North Coast’s Krysti and Bodge. “A lot of the so-called “Instagramming” was just me contacting my brothers, contacting my mum. Being more involved in that.”
He continued: “And you can see, I’m kind of upset most days. I look reasonably rattled at my phone if you look back at the footage. It’s mainly because I’m talking about some pretty heavy stuff. I wasn’t really conveying [my situation] to Connie. I wasn’t really telling her what I was doing. She was just seeing me on my phone.”
During Sunday night’s episode, Connie wrote ‘Stay’, while Jonethen wrote ‘Leave’.
“I don’t know what to say,” Jon admitted. “My feelings towards Connie, I’m in a weird position, I feel. I think she’s beautiful. I think you’re funny, intelligent – she ticks a lot of my boxes, but I don’t feel that romantic spark. And I wonder how long I continue to force something, especially now I know you have feelings. I don’t what to give her false hope.”
Well, we’re just glad to see Connie happy!
