Married At First Sight – AKA everyone’s favourite trainwreck – is back for another season come January 2020, and oh boy are we excited to see what the love experts have in store for us next year!

We’ve already been given a brief glance into who will be starring in the Channel Nine reality show, and to everyone’s delight Elizabeth Sobinoff will be back for round 2, and if our girl Lizzie doesn’t find love this time we’re going to riot!

Elizabeth Sobinoff
To say Elizabeth had a rough go on last season of MAFS would be an understatement, considering she was fat-shamed by TV ‘husband’ Sam Ball, who then made her out to be a liar.
Oh, and who also had an affair with fellow contestant Ines Basic.
However, our girl got the last laugh by serving the most epic and empowering speech when Sam chose not to face the two women he hurt at the reunion, which subsequently went down as one of the most bad a** moments in MAFS history.
Fingers crossed Lizzie has more luck the second time around!

Seb Guilhaus
Seb Guilhaus is an athlete who has played at a high level of AFL, representing the Northern Territory Thunder and the SANFL Woodville-West Torrens.
Rumour has it AFL player Seb is going to be paired with Lizzie, and we swear to god Seb if you break her heart we’re going to come and find you!
Just joking (but not really).

Aleksandra Markovic
Aleksandra Markovic has been on TV before, featuring on Channel Seven’s show Take Me Out.
So far (and according to Take Me Out) Aleksandra said her “deal-breaker” was someone who is a gym junkie (thank goodness she didn’t get paired with Seb).
According to her Instagram bio, Aleksandra is a real estate agent and singing teacher.

Cathy Evans, a Kiwi, has made a career of uploading videos to YouTube dedicated to all her bad dates – so MAFS should be a walk in the park!

Steven Burley
Steven Burley owns a barbershop in Melbourne called Kingsman Barbers. He’s also the oldest contestant on the upcoming season.

Amanda Micallef
Amanda is one-half of the show’s first-ever lesbian couple, and we are SO excited! Amanda is a bodybuilder and a “strength, physique and mindset” coach, according to her Instagram bio.
She is also the host of her very own podcast which focuses on strength training, health and wellness.

Tash Herz
Tash Herz is the second half of MAFS first-ever female same-sex couple. Not much is known about Tash, but she looks like she’s just as into training as her TV wife, so they’ll at least have that in common!

Mikey Pembroke
Mikey Pembroke has labelled himself a “real estate and marketing” professional, and he is a SNACK.
Turns out Mikey’s ex-girlfriend Katie Williams was on another reality TV show, Ninja Warrior Australia, and is a super successful trainer, presenter and podcaster. Let’s hope his new wife lives up to his ex GF!

Stacey Hampton
26-year-old Stacey Hampton is a single mother to two boys, Kosta and Kruz, and is also a recent law graduate.
According to the Daily Mail, Stacey is set to be the next Jessika Power (aka the star of the show) so we cannot wait to see who she gets paired with.
