Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s epic tour of the South Pacific has given us plenty of chic fashion ensembles, but Meghan’s latest outfit has drawn some (fairly ridiculous) criticism from the more conservative royalists.
When the glowing Mumma-to-be and Prince Harry stepped out on sunny Fraser Island yesterday, people seemed to have some opinions about her choice of dress.
Wearing a warm weather appropriate Reformation maxi dress with a thigh-high split, some people on the internet were quick to claim that Meghan broken royal protocolby (gasp) showing some leg and her arms.

Kensington Palace (who didn’t seem to take issue with the offending dress) posted some candid photos of the Duchess of Sussex mingling with locals, but it didn’t take long for the trolls to come out thick and fast, criticising her choice of attire for being ‘too casual’.
One charming person wrote, “She is not dressing for a Royal tour. She is dressing as if this is her own private vacation. I guess we have to blame her dresser/fashion advisor. Totally got it wrong for a Royal tour.”
However, for every hater, there was plenty of love for the Markle’s outfit choice.
I think we can all agree that a linen maxi-dress is hardly the royal scandal, keep killing the fashion game Megs!
