Okay folks, so it seems like Cara Delevingne, Ashley Benson and G-Easy’s love triangle has now become a bit of a love square as singer Halsey and Delevingne are now, apparently, “hooking up.”
Back in March, we reported that one of Girlfriend’s fave couples, Cara Delevingne and Ashley Benson had broken up after two years of dating. Then, just a few months after, Benson was romantically linked to rapper G-Eazy and potentially engaged. And now, Delevingne is reportedly spending time with G-Eazy’s ex and her pal Halsey.
According to The Sun, via The Cut, a source close to Delevingne told the outlet that “Cara has kissed [Halsey] in front of friends and stuff,” which apparently is “not a big deal for either of them.” For “the last few weeks,” the pair have been “having a laugh together.”
Read from that what you will.
“It’s all very casual and just a bit of fun,” the source explained. “Neither of them are particularly keen to be tied down and they’re fine about seeing other people. They’re both been very open about their sexuality and just want to enjoy themselves.”
The ~mysterious~ source added that, thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, “they’ve both been stuck in L.A. in recent months [and] it’s given them a chance to see each other. It’s actually just funny to them that their exes are together now, and there’s no hard feelings.”
And, honestly, we love to hear it. Just because your ex is dating your new boo’s ex doesn’t mean things have to be awkward—although it must be a bit awkward that Halsey’s real name is Ashley, too.
Cara Delevingne and Ashley Benson first met as co-stars on the set of indie rock film Her Smell in 2018 and confirmed they were dating in June 2019. G-Eazy and Halsey reportedly split in November 2018 after over a year together, when the rapper allegedly cheated on the “Without Me” singer. Halsey and Delevingne meanwhile have been friends for years with the Carnival Row star appearing in one of Halsey’s music videos back in 2018.
