Remember how we told you guys about how TikTok stars never put all their eggs in one basket, coz you never really ‘own’ your account? Well, something just happened that proves exactly why.
Overnight, Hype House star Avani Gregg’s TikTok account — and all of its 17 million followers — VANISHED into thin air.
A representative for Avani told Insider that the star first noticed an issue with her account on Wednesday afternoon.
As of now, her account ‘@avani’ still remains unsearchable — showing a blank, grey icon when you type it in.
Luckily for Avani, she has a second account, @lilpapiclowngirl, which has a decent 1.8 million followers.
She took to her back-up account to vent about her frustration about the situation.
“I don’t know what’s happening with my main account,” she said in the video, which was posted early on Wednesday morning. “I honestly don’t know what I did wrong.”
She also took to Twitter to lament her misfortune, tweeting “why always me, what did I ever do”
Avani’s rep confirmed that Avani has no idea what had led to the account being deleted, but that she hoped TikTok would correct the error ‘ASAP.’

If you’re not already following Avani (what are you doing with your life!?) she’s loved for her lit style and epic makeup skills. She’s sometimes known as the ‘clown girl’, because her first viral video was of her doing a scary-good clown makeup look.
Here’s hoping her account returns soon, so we can continue enjoying all her awesome content in self-iso.
