It seems like everyone is trying to find a real reason as to why Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson called off their engagement, as they went from OTT romance to broken up in a matter of weeks.
While outlets are reporting that Ariana realised their engagement was “too soon”, and that things were put into perspective after her ex, Mac Miller passed away, there’s a new rumour going around that is absolutely sickening.
Pete Davidson allegedly sent Mac Miller intimate photos of himself and Ariana, as an attempt to end Mac Miller’s hopes of getting back together with her.
Ari supposedly discovered this by Mac’s relatives and proceeded to end her relationship with Pete.
TMZ also reports that Mac was the main reason that #Pariana broke up.
A source close to Ari told the publication that after Mac’s death, Ariana realised that she got engaged too quickly, and she “couldn’t be fully invested in her relationship with Pete.”
Right now, this is just a rumour, so it’s important to take it with a grain of salt… however, with the things that Pete has done (publicly) to Ariana, it wouldn’t be that surprising.
Fans had started noticing that the majority of Pete’s affection towards Ariana was purely physical, as he consistently sexualised her in the press, as well as made comments like defending the bishop who assaulted her, and saying he was “proud” when Bill Clinton was caught eyeing her off.
Not to mention the fact that Pete recently joked about switching her birth control pills to trap her.
Hopefully, this news is completely fake.
