We lived and breathed for Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart back in the day.
The Twilight stars turned lovers were our fave couple, until KStew had a fling with her married Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, leaving us all, including RPatz, heartbroken.
Six years later, it seems like all has been forgiven… kind of. During the recent premiere of his new film, Damsel, Entertainment Tonight reporter Katie Krause asked Rob who was his favourite “boss-lady damsel” that he’s worked with.
“Oh tons! I mean, I’ve worked with some real powerhouses. Definitely Mia [Wasikowska] is one of them, obviously,” he said. “Kristen Scott Thomas, Uma Thurman.”
But Katie didn’t leave it there, instead weaving in a question about KStew. “I thought you were going to say Kristen Stewart, because I saw you guys just hung out the other day!” she said.
Poor RPatz was put firmly on the stop and somewhat awkwardly stammered out KStew’s name. “Kristen Stewart, Kristen too! Kristen Stewart as well, yeah, yeah, yeah,” he said. “Catherine Hardwicke, too. She’s great.”
Rob’s comments come only weeks after the pair were seen hanging out at the birthday party of mutual friend Lily-Rose Depp at the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood. There were also reports that Rob and KStew were seen together back in February.
While a second-chance at romance may not be on the cards for these kiddos, we’re glad to see that they have at least managed to be friends after all this time.
