On last night’s episode of The Project, Sophie Monk dropped a huge marriage bombshell that she’s been keeping under-wraps for years.
The 37-year-old stopped by the Sunday edition of the news and current affairs to co-host. After one segment Sophie told fellow co-hosts that she had been engaged two and a-half-times.
How can you be half-engaged? The Bachelorette explained the ‘half’ is because it’s a secret, until now anyway.
“I got a ring out of it once,” Sophie joked before adding “I’ve been engaged two-and-a-half times.”
Sophie’s first two engagements are not so secret. In 2007, Benji Madden proposed to Monk on Christmas Eve, they split the following year. She later got engaged to American Billionaire Jimmy Esebag in 2011, the union only lasted a few months.
As for suspicion Monk and her Bachie winner will get engaged during Wednesday’s episode, the blonde beauty says, no way!
“I’m not going to get married this early,” she told TV Week. “I haven’t even been out in real life with the person I’ve chose – not even for a coffee!’ she added.
