The 25-year-old uploaded an extremely sexual photo alongside her caption to help the cause, which many found to be of bad taste at the time, regardless of her efforts to donate money.

The backlash that ensued got so bad that she ended up deactivating her Instagram account completely, The Daily Telegraph reports.

After a while, the model reactivated her account with a fresh post that didn’t distract from what she was trying to get across.

Tammy initially urged her fans to help donate last week, with an emotional post on Instagram.

Our home is burning. These are the worst bush fires on record and they are still burning,” she wrote.

“Five million hectares (15 MILLION ACRES!!!) of land has burned. Our wildlife are burning alive (more than 500 MILLION!!) and many homes have been lost.

“I stay praying for all the families and the firefighters and the lives lost,” she added.
