Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson called off their engagement, something that would be painful for anyone. But being in the public eye and having your relationship ridiculed by the entire world makes it THAT much worse.
Ariana has a way of bouncing back from negativity in her life, and is currently doing amazingly!
As for Pete, well, he’s kinda been copping it.
After the breakup, Pete took a hiatus from social media. However, last night he returned with a post promoting his upcoming movie, Big Time Adolescence.
Sadly in the comments, Pete is being tormented by Ariana fans commenting, “thank u next” – the titled of her new song.
One fan even wrote that Pete was canceled. “ur canceled tysm for breaking with ariana bc she’s doing much better BYE.”
Well, Ariana’s manager Scooter Braun wasn’t having it.
Replying to the horrible comment, he wrote, “stop the bullshit. It is nothing like that and Pete is a good dude. No one has hate for this guy and he is a stand-up guy. Show respect because trust me everyone on this side knows he deserves it and wishes him well.”
Amen Scooter.
