Riverdale has resumed filming but the new content we’re enjoying the most is actually coming from a much more low-fi source. The show’s trio of leading ladies, Camila Mendes (Veronica Lodge), Lili Reinhart (Betty Cooper), and Madelaine Petsch (Cheryl Blossom) have gone down the time-honoured isolation trend of making TikTok videos. Not only that, but the trio have made a joint TikTok account (@blondebrunetteredhead) to share them!
As fans know, the cast of Riverdale is back together again in Vancouver, Canada, ahead of the filming of the CW show’s fifth season. (Lili Reinhart says she was taken out of context when she recently described being back on set as like being a prisoner.) Based on their TikTok videos, and pictures from the first table reads, it kinda looks like the actress trio might be living together?
A recent video from “Lamila Petschart” (the moniker the trio are using on TikTok) shows Mendes and Petsch trying their hand at the now-infamous “WAP” dance. Petsch does the high kick before promptly falling over… we’re not sure if that means we won’t be getting a full video 🤔
In another TikTok which Mendes shared to her Instagram, she and Reinhart take on some hilarious choreography to the song, “Fergalicious.” The response was resoundingly positive, with one user commenting, “This is some of the most quality content I have ever seen. My eyes feel blessed to have seen this.”
As well as their various forays into dance TikToks, the trio has also filmed a few cute interviews of each other where the interviewee can’t properly hear the question being asked.
We wonder if a duet with KJ Apa’s chaotic TikToks could be expected next? If so it’ll probably have to be before his character Archie is potentially killed off this season…
