In the lead up to the much anticipated single, fans have been speculating as to what (or who) or new song could be written about.
And many are saying that the lyrics are 100% a dig at her former flame, Justin Bieber.
It all started when Sel posted a throwback snap of herself – looking like a bloody cutie – with the caption. “We always go into it blindly.”
The next snap was a black and white pic of an older Selena behind a veil (a still from her music video) with the caption: “Rose colored glasses all distorted.”
It’s about here that we all picked up on the fact that these weren’t just your average captions, these were defs love related song lyrics.
“I saw the signs and I ignored it” was next, followed by, “I gave my all and they all know it.”
Justin and Selena had a very public – and very humourous – relationship, with allegations of cheating following the couple throughout the years.
It is also known that Selena’s BFF Taylor Swift DESPISES Justin with every fibre of her being, and that the Sorry singer was often going in-between wife Hailey Baldwin and Selena for years.
After the couple got married – for a second time – in a lavish ceremony, it seems Selena has decided to finally comment on that period of her life with “Lose You To Love Me”.
Naturally, Twitter is stanning Selena’s new track, HARD.
This track is low-key making us want to cry in a corner, so BRB while we grab the tissues.
